Announcement Regarding Final of BJSC XIV

 

Because of the fact this is the largest Buzzjack Song Contest to date, and I've always intended to try something different when I hosted, Herzebania will be trying something new with this month's final, only done once before (and that was unintentional!)

 

I know that some of you will go for this idea, while others will be out with their pitchforks, but I think in the climate of the ever growing contest it is worth a try.

 

I can officially announce that the final results of the 14th Buzzjack Song Contest will take place over two nights (Sunday 8th and Monday 9th March).

 

Personally, I always thought that the Kingdom of Shadow's final being held over two nights, and the suspence this created was an unintentional stroke of genius, but the deciding factor was the fact that 47 sets of votes probably is pushing the boundaries of exactly how long a final can actually go on for. Therefore it will be split up into two nights to break up the potential monotony, and hopefully create extra drama as well.

 

I apologise to the traditionalists among you, but hopefully this can be a great final!

That's a good idea actually as i don't want to sit at my computer until 2-3am watching the results ^_^

It's a good IMO and for the best, especially if all 47 countries vote.

Just as long as it doesn't start at like 5.30pm.

 

There is no way i am getting up at 7.30am for BJSC

if Ashton wins before july it would be at about 8pm AEST (10am GMT) i would not be able to function properly in the morning. to give the uk a 7pm show it would be 5am the next day for me. eeeeek. So Ashton winning would be good for you.

 

i have completely confused myself if it was at 5.30pm GMT it would be 3.30am AEST the day after.

 

f***, well i won't be here for the results then. Being 10 hours ahead is a bit awkward, it is in fact the only negative to Aus i have found so far

I think I'll miss the Monday installment, I work until 8pm...apart from today I was on an early shift as a one off

 

not a bad idea though to be fair, unless we have a clear runaway winner in the first half, which would make the second half quite boring, unless you are planning to announce the results in a strategic order!?!
