Ashton today abandoned their quick fix of Mutya Buena's Fast Car cover in favour of continuing the strategy it has has unsuccessfully had in place since XII.

 

Ashton has decided to enter Alex Roots in XIV continuing a run of relatively unknown artists. The song has yet to be decided, but is thought to be either Fake or Don't Stop Looking. An announcement is set to be made concerning the song on Saturday the 14th, 18days time.

 

The ASC confirmed that they had ditched Mutya as they didn't want to reach the top10 with a cheap song, they'd rather make it with a good, strong song that coincides with the basic principle of BJSC. The introduction to others of new music.

 

Ashton's tactic of not entering songs specifically to win continues, as the nation recommits itself to sending the best music every month.

LOL, sorry. I've warmed to it a bit now that i've found out many brilliant songs peaked at #10 but i do think that having a lower number or just a totally random number like #23 would have been better.

I said it first. In fact, I might even send it to the main contest in a few months. Maybe XV or XVI, we can't have her appearing every two contests like she is at the moment.
