LOL, I didn't read the three-choice option :blush: My favourites would be:

 

-Eurovision songs

-UK #10's

-Foreign language songs

 

I think the 'word' and 'one-word' options would be pretty lame though. What would distinguish that from a normal contest really? :/

It's not even a theme and it would just be songs that could be entered in the real thing as well except slightly more cheap. Not a fan of that one really. I'm backing foreign language songs.

I think it could be very good...there are loads of classic UK #10's and it would require some research and people fighting over the same song[/a&e]

 

and #10 is not so cheap, it's hardly the peak for huge hits is it, a #1's contest would be cheap

I dont think Male Contest would really be different from main BJSC now that FrankMusik, Sound Of Arrows, Darin etc. have started doing well...

I would make a separate one yes, like I said, it shouldn't integrate with the XIV discussion

yes, ESC only would involve all semi-finalists and finalists

 

I'm sure a quick trawl through Kate's back catalogue could give you plenty of ideas for a foreign contest :o

The Green Room is just a general discussion place...the contest in the title refers more to the period of time than the contest we're actually discussing doesn't it? Because there is always OT stuff in there anyways.

I agree with Jonjo, I dont know whether I would like foreign languages, it would be very difficult.
