Was looking for something else and stumbled on these clips of Beatles tribute Bands, not sure what to make of them. Hard to say if they are playing live or playing with a backing track, singing not too hot.

I think if they weren't dressed for the part they would probably struggle to get an audience to be honest, so in a way they are using the Beatles to attract an audience.

you havent listed them but The Bootleg Beatles are meant to be really good :o for a tribute act anyway.

 

In my opinon tribute acts are ok if there is something unique about them, if they are literally playing the songs in the exact same way as the originals then i think it's pointless, however if your someone like Beatallica, then your a good tribute act :lol: Beatallica play songs that are a mix between The Beatles and Metallica, they are amazing.
