Lady GaGa is amazing but she certainly seems to know it, I guess you kinda need to be like that to be big in the industry though. Back in 1984 I thought Madonna was quite arrogant. But time would prove that Madonna's arrogance was not misplaced.

I like cocky, but it's not for everyone. She's no more or less cocky than most pop stars I'd say. She has just the right amount of arrogance and self-belief. Like TIP said regarding Madonna, her having just the right amount of arrogance and self-belief enabled her to achieve what she wanted and conquer. From what I've seen, Lady GaGa seems like a nice fun-loving type of person, and she's yet to be nasty about anyone or slag anyone off. Some people in this business are very arrogant and needlessly slag others off to gain publicity and attempt to sell records (hello Lily Allen). Come to think of it, didn't this Katie Price thing instigate a public war of words with Jamelia a few years back in much the same way as this?
