Posted June 15, 200619 yr Furtado takes top spot on download chart Source Music Week Nelly Furtado has snatched the download chart top spot from Sandi Thom, while the World Cup has propelled football tunes up the chart. Furtado's Maneater (Geffen) and Thom's I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (RCA) have switched places and now are now first and second respectively. Meanwhile, the World Cup has propelled football-themed tunes up the chart: Three Lions by Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning Seeds (Epic) went up 30 places from 35-5, and Embrace's official anthem World At Your Feet (Independiente) rose 14 places from 23-9. Tony Christie's (Is This The Way To) The World Cup (Tug) went up 15 places from 36-21, and Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Jurgen Klinsmann by the Tonedef Allstars (Tone Def) went in at 26. But the World Cup boost didn't extend to Crazy Frog's We Are The Champions (Gut), which is now bottom of the top 40 after dropping two places. The highest new entry was Rihanna's Unfaithful (Def Jam) at 15.
