'Falling Down', highlighted by reviewers as one of the best tracks on their latest album, the track will be released as a single on Monday 9th March (8th March digitally). The Noel Gallagher-sung track is taken from Oasis 7th studio album 'Dig Out Your Soul' which went straight to number one in the UK and top 5 in the US on its release last October.

The video for 'Falling Down' will receive its premiere on Channel 4 on 3rd February at 11.35pm (E4 9pm) and was directed by WIZ with whom the band have worked in the past.

Its a good strong single...

Great choice and im glad they are going with a third single,i cant see it doing great but it should go top 20 at the least

Whoa, I'm really surprised they're releasing what is in effect a previous B side as the 3rd single!!

I love 'Falling Down' and I wanted it to be the first release but I'm not sure why they chose it to be released as an A side now!

I think it might struggle to hit Top 20 after the disasterous chart run of 'I'm Outta Time' :(

some good news!!

a new b-side is going to be released with it! so this could fare well as it has new material unlike just a remix

Hi Jez,

I have both the original and the Chemical's remix but I just find it strange that they've decided to release the album version as the 3rd single. DOYS has so many great tracks that could have been released instead! :)

its looking like the new single will get no promo what so ever its almost going unnoticed i really hope they promote it as if they dont it will flop

Yep 'Rule The World',

I agree. The promotion has been almost non-existent!

As I've said before, I love the track but feel, when it comes to chart position, it's gonna struggle big time.

well again no promotion and im starting to feel the single is gonna struggle very hard,,i cant understand why they aint promoting it especially that dig out your soul is their lowest selling studio album and lowest selling album apart from familar to millions so i would have though they would lik eto promote the single as the bigger the single the better chance the album has of selling, the album still hasnt managed 20 week sin the top 75 which is very low for oasis
great start but i do think it will drop during the week,im hoping it can stay top 20,,funnily enough falling down charted in ireland before the album was released and it made number 26 back then,i hope it can re cahrt here as im outta time didnt chart at all here in ireland it was their first single to flop in ireland, which is a shame as it is not their worst single by a long shot
im glad is gone top 10 as i didnt think it would plus it has helped the album which this week climbs 17 places to number 44

I'm still getting over the shock!! Fantastic to make the Top Ten. :o

Noel and the boys did a great live performance on Comic Relief's Top Of The Pops.

'I'm Outta Time woz ace

falling down is ok dont think it will do much in the charts though

I loved im outta time and still think it should have done far better as a single ,falling down did go top 10 which is good but its number 22 in this midweeks so far
