February 1, 200916 yr I'll admit to being a fan of Stuart Adamson and Big Country.....have a couple cassettes and cds of theirs here at the house.....I must say I've not heard of The Skids, though..... I'm familiar with the Big Country videos posted....I'm just trying to recall what song they dueted with Kate Bush...... I also seem to recall bassist Tony Butler working with Pete Townsend......especially for the video 'Let My Love Open the Door'..... Edited February 1, 200916 yr by bigwiglaf
February 2, 200916 yr the skids were great, 'into the valley' was my fav track of '79 never keen on big country though....
February 4, 200916 yr I liked the energy of the Skids, although Richard Jobson's dancing leaves a lot to be desired :D . Liked Big Country as well, although never bought any of their stuff.
