February 1, 200916 yr What does Simon Cowell know???? Robson & Jerome, Teletubbies, Westlife etc Kate Bush is outstanding. My faves: Wuthering Heights The Man With The Child In His Eyes Running Up That Hill Cloudbusting Hounds Of Love This Woman's Work Rubberband Girl
February 1, 200916 yr I just love 'Wuthering Heights' I'm reading the book in English Lit at the moment :D
February 1, 200916 yr Kate Bush is one of the best female singers of all time. It's very hard to pick my favourite song from her... Obviously 'This Womans Work' is excellent but I love 'Never Be Mine' and 'Deilus (Song For Summer)' as well.
February 2, 200916 yr lets cut the crap or half truths here KATE BUSH IS OUR BEST EVER FEMALE ARTISTE .... end of . apart from 'wuthering heights' (my fav track of '78) i really love 'breathing', 'army dreamers' , 'sat in your lap' , 'them heavy people' , 'man with the child in his eyes'...
February 3, 200916 yr I actually listened to The Whole Story for a change the other day (Usually I listen to one of the albums) and Breathing just completely took my breath away (Again!) I think my faves at the moment are that and Sat In Your Lap but this can change daily with our (true) national treasure.
February 4, 200916 yr Yep, I liked her music from the start, especially her mid '80's period. Tracks like.... The Man With The Child In His Eyes Running Up That Hill Cloudbusting Hounds Of Love
February 4, 200916 yr Whilst I was never, ever a fan of Wuthering Heights, I really, really love Kate Bush. OK, she can be a lazy cow and she these days she lets the tedium of motherhood overtake her musical genius.... but how can you not love the lady who gave us these classics? This Woman's Work Under The Ivy Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) Song of Solomon Mother Stands For Comfort Never Be Mine Ne T'enfuit Pas Sunset Nocturn and the list goes on. The world's greatest living musician? Absolutely no question.
February 4, 200916 yr  I adore this woman. My mom played me 'Sat In Your Lap' back when I was in seventh grade or so (12-sh), and I've been absolutely in love ever since. It was instant, even at such a young age. Her imagination and creativity know no bounds...
February 4, 200916 yr Not so long time ago I quite hate her music (based of one song: Wuthering Heights). The voice was unusual to me. I still don't like this song too much. One song changed all. I've seen "Cloudbusting" video on Vh1 and instantly I liked the song. :) I've listened to some of her albums and now I can say my fave album is The Hounds of Love.
February 4, 200916 yr When Wuthering Heights came out it took a while for me to decide whether I loved it or hated it. I finally decided I loved it and have been a fan ever since. The Man With The Child In His Eyes is still my favourite but there have been many great songs since then.
February 5, 200916 yr When Wuthering Heights came out it took a while for me to decide whether I loved it or hated it. I finally decided I loved it and have been a fan ever since. indeed, that was the general feeling i think, after all.... nothing like it had ever been heard before.
