in my chart I have it as 'Jade Ewen - My Time' but I've seen 'Jade - My Time', 'Jade - It's My Time' and 'Jade Ewen - It's My Time', I really don't know which one's correct

Jade Ewen performing in Bosnia-Herzegovina. :D I've not watched yet, still waiting for it to load!

Jade in Russia this time... great performance and they've cut about ten seconds off somewhere but I can't work out where!

They haven't. The audience is just clapping over the fade-out of the strings, which only go on for another 4-5 seconds anyways.

I'm sure they have... the music doesn't start til 0:07 and then she's done by about 3:16.

Listen to the studio version though....it's pretty much finished by about 3.10 and the rest is just the fade-out. Trust me, nothing whatsoever has been cut out. If it had been it would be more obvious.

How do you reckon they're gonna cut it down? I can't see any obvious way of doing it at all!

i always love eurovision and our UK entries.

i've not heard this song, but taking in to acount the last time we won was uh, actually, well... we never win!. scrap that. we've got a very slim chance

What the hell are you on about? :/ We're the second most successful nation in the ESC! We've won 5 times out of 53...which is pretty damn good! :/

And re: Jade, my studio version could cut out the intro and go straight in at 0:06, and parts of the end could be cut to bring it to 3:06, but those last 6 seconds will be a bitch to get rid of...I reckon the tiny instrumental in there is gonna go.

I still maintain that's a shorter version... the music doesn't start until 0:06 and she's saying "thank you very much" at 3:17. The gap near the end between "it's my time nooooow" and "show you all..." seems shorter as well. Take out one of the "tonights" after the instrumental and make the introduction shorter and I reckon we'd be at three minutes myself.

isn't there a 10 second discretion rule?

Does anyone know where else Jade is going to be performing? So far we've had:

Malta

Greece

Bosnia-Herzegovina

Russia

Ukraine

Will she be doing the Belgian, Czech or Swedish national finals?

isn't there a 10 second discretion rule?

I don't think there is any more. It's pretty precise.

I can see the song being 3.15 on the official CD and all the promo performances and being very sloppily butchered on the night itself TBH...

isn't there a 10 second discretion rule?

Not anymore I don't think :o It has to be exactly 3:00...

Albania's 2006 entry was something like 3:11 on the CD  (Amazing entry, btw)
:P I love Jade, she's soooooo great at singing and she's got a really nice speaking voice :P

LOL @ Jade at the end of the Russian performance, she does a great job of looking like she has a clue what's going on ... I'd be like

She is ace, the Russian performance was the best yet, nice and controlled, but hugely powerful.
