Because I don't like it and I never have. I've always thought that along with Bohemian Rapsody it's the most over-rated song ever. It's the only track I ever skip on the album, well I always skip it...

There are MANY worse songs than Angels but are they as OVER-RATED? No. I'm hardly going to pick something like South Of The Border as his most over-rated song as it's not that rated anyway. Maybe you don't know what over-rated means? It certainly seems that way.... People are going to find bands/artists signiture songs the most over-rated as they are the ones that are widely regarded as some of the best ever songs in every single poll going.

 

I don't like Angels and never have, I never liked it when it was first out and don't like it now. I've certainly not changed my opinion on the song to look "cool" :rolleyes: It's still over-played, you can't go to a wedding or anything like that without it being played. You can't go to any form of singing contest or kareoke without multiple people attempting to sing it. And it wins the title of Best British Single Of The Last 25 Years at the Brits. Better than Love Will Tear Us Apart and Wuthering Heights? :puke2:

Well, each to his or her own opinion, I agree with you. The world would be a pretty boring place if we all agreed on the same thing all the time. The issue for me on one of your previous replies was the way it was worded, a lot of people reading it could take offence as it did come across as quite rude. I respect your opinions and realise that they differ from mine.

What i don't understand RabbitFurCoat is the fact that you typed OVER-RATED in big fat letters.....

IMO that means you find it ridiculous how people feel about that song.

 

Love will tear us apart and Wuthering heights are songs i don't like very much but if they were

voted number 1 , i wouldn't say that's OVER-RATED.
