Hello.Here in Bulgaria there is a big fuss about Eurovision.Our national final is announced for 21.02.2009.I would like to show you the serious contenders for it.There are 12 songs in that final,but here are the 3 with the biggest chances:

 

First , this is my personal favorite.It has a very classy lyrics,beautiful singer and all of my support for the final:

...and the other 2 are those (i like the first one and dislike the second,but exactly the second one has the biggest chances):

Our local semifinal was last week and now we have 12 finalists for the final on 21.02.2009!

This entry is a catastrophe.... It's the worst song I've heard lately .... There were really good entries this year - I voted for Nora twice.

I'm really confused - how did this man even qualify?

This was my favourite - not that it really matters, but..... Anyways :)

It's not that I don't respect other people's efforts, but this one is just ........ It's bad - that's all I can say.

I love the song, but it's quite bad live. :(

If the guy learns how to sing we have a slight chance of entering into the finals, but if he continues to moan like a pack of horny cats than we don't stand a chance. Obviously a lot of "efforts" were input into the whole production of the video and it came out pretty good. However this won't matter if he doesn't drastically improve his live performance skills (which probably won't happen). Afterall it's a song, not a video contest.

Well there are calls in Bulgaria to withdraw Krassi and replace the entry, as he has lived in America for 10 years, is out of touch with Bulgarian culture... and apparently is of "unusual sexual character"... whatever that means :kink:

That's not true. Where did you read this? First of all, there are many Bulgarians living abroad, I don't think we're crazy enough to force someone to withdraw a contest only because he/she has left the country. :D That would be ridiculous. The song that I've voted for has nothing to do with Bulgarian culture either. Besides, Krassimir is not gay, if that was suggested in the article that you've read. And even if he were, I don't think that would matter. It's true that many people want the entry to be replaced, but the reason is that the guy obviously (and unfortunately) can't deliver a good life performance. Some of the viewers believe that the vote has been manipulated in Krassi's favour.

However, I don't think the fuss will cause a change.... I've already faced the fact - this is our entry.

That's not exactly true... as Ina said, it is the live performance of the song that caused all the fuss (cause it absolutely sucked). It doesn't really matter that he lived in the USA the last couple of years or whatever his sexual orientation may be. We are not so narrow-minded. After all we sent this person (as a backing vocalist) a few years ago :lol: :rolleyes: :lol: But he sang ok so there was no problem with him :)
