Gary is responsible for some of Take That’s biggest hits, including UK number one singles ‘Pray’, ‘Back for Good’ and ‘Patience’. February 2, 200916 yr Now I really like Gary! And its time that he got some recognition (even if it is to just apologise for the way he was treated in the past). And (of that list) he certainly should be ahead of at least five of the others mentioned. HOWEVER .... NO WAY are Lennon & McCartney NOT the best in that list. That is just ridiculous. I'm happy knowing that Gary Barlow will think exactly the same and take this with a pinch of salt! As a mucician ... I think he'd be quite bemused himself to see that L&C don't top that list. Of that particular list - I'd have had Lennon & McCartney - 1st, Bee Gees - 2nd, JEFF LYNNE - 3rd and then maybe Gary in 4th. I would have had Lynne in second but I'm taking into account the number of songs the Bee Gees have written for other artists. But apart from the ridiculous omission of Jeff Lynne ... what about Elton John, Ray Davies, Roy Wood, Elvis Costello and a host of other writers. Norma Edited February 3, 200916 yr by Norma_Snockers
