February 5, 200916 yr I think I'll be giving this one a miss, I'll be cruising the caribbean islands that week. :P
February 5, 200916 yr Is this a private function only, or will it be televised at some point I wonder?
February 5, 200916 yr I doubt it's televised. An old acquaintance of mine was (or still is?) a member of the Hurlingham Club. :o This is definitely out of my price range, too. And if someone gave me £325 right now, I'd spend it on going to Germany for Easter. ;) There are limits. Good to see that Will is still doing stuff for one of his "oldest" charities. :D

February 7, 200916 yr Didn't know that, suggy. Well, it's my "fatherland", and I am in fact going to Germany, to visit my brother and his family in Hamburg plus my sister, mum and nephew in Oldenburg, which is my hometown - even though no-one has given me £325. I'm just gonna do some frugal living. Will probably book the flight tomorrow. :)

The first bit of German language we learnt, was how to ask for Brockwurst und pommes frites mit mayonnaise bitte.
