"I am very much looking forward to be working with Modest Management. I have really got to know both Richard and Harry professionally and personally over the last couple of years and I know I have made the right decision for this next chapter in my life. Together with Jo, who I have known well for six years and am so happy to be working with again, I know I have the right people around me to continue my musical journey," says Delta of the signing.

As long as it means more UK stuff, I'm happy...

They'll also be keen on damage limitation and will try to do some positive PR I reckon...

But does this mean she'll b wit brian more and more, as in career wise?

I doubt it, they know it's not a good move for another duet for either of them...

Does anyone know more about Modest Entertainment - I can't seem to find anything about them on the internet.

They manage Brian McFadden so can't be too classy if they'll let him sell anything to the papers ;)

Ok, no offense but Brians is doing $h!t, his career is already over......when Delta was doing so well, why would she change her manager, do you think this has something to do with Brian and his reading and replying to other peoples e mails? I don't know why Delta would change though, like come on, look how Birans career has turned out!

I reckon her mother was just stresssing her out and maybe this was a ploy to get back into the UK...

Delta Goodrem, Australia;s highest selling solo female artist of all time, has split with her current term manager… her mum… and signed with Modest! Entertainment.

Modest! Entertainment is the home of her boyfriend and Westlife star Brian McFadden as well as British RnB star Lemar.

Modest! Co-founder Richard Griffiths said “We are delighted to have Delta Goodrem join our roster at Modest Management and look forward to working closely with her and watching her continue to grow from the incredible artist that she already is.â€

The London based company will be opening an Australian office soon, headed by former Sony Music promotions boss Jo Grogan.

Goodrem said the decision to move management away from her mother Lea was so they could spend more time being mother and daughter again.

This is her third management since her signing at age 15. Her first was John Farnham manager and former Masters Apprentices bassist Glenn Wheatley who was fired after driving her success and replaced by her mother Lea Goodrem who helmed the less than successful follow-up 'Mistaken Identity'.

Lea Goodrem also failed to drive the career of her daughter into the much sort after US market, after Sony-BMG US decided to not release her albums.

Delta was also recently passed up by management mogel Irving Azoff, who also manages the careers of Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton.

Goodrem’s debut album ‘Innocent Eyes’ is currently the highest selling albumby a female in Australian history, having sold over one million units. John Farnham's 'Whispering Jack' still holds the record. Farnham is still managed by Wheatley..

Her second album ‘Mistaken Identity’ was not nearly as successful. <_<
