The odds of Ireland qualifying are crap. Seriously, semi 2 is insanely difficult.

 

Who will qualify from semi 2:

 

- Azerbaijan (IMO, it's horrible.)

- Greece (Nothing special, but it's made for ESC)

- Lithuania (Excellent song!)

- Moldova (I hate it)

- Norway (Great song)

- Serbia (Not picked yet, but they'll get through)

- Ukraine (Same as Serbia)

- Denmark (Quite good)

- Albania (Very good)

 

Then the jury would go for either: Croatia (Dire), Ireland (Quite good), Poland (meh), Slovenia (good).

 

Ireland will get to 13th on televotes from the semi-final participants. France will probably chip in with a few points, but I don't think Russia will.

 

Now, please, I hope I'm proven wrong! :P

Serbian and Russian entries have grown on me like they did on David :lol: Now i think they are quite great! :wub:

Russia's has a charm to it if you look very very hard, but Serbia's is just the worst song I've heard all year :puke:

I think the Serbian song is quite catchy. :o I can see it finishing 16-20 in the final though tbh.

Eastern wins are only possible from Moldova, (Greece, Turkey - who are Eastern but not newcomers to the contest), Azerbaijan and Montenegro this year IMO, so there will hopefully be no reason for major complaint in the newspapers this year if Jade comes top ten! ^_^

Moldova 2008 was :heart: GUTTED it didn't qualify. Not mad about this year's entry, though.

 

 

Hora Din Moldova will go down a smash considering it's one of the few good Eastern songs - let's not forget that an Eastern winner could be fairly likely, as they won't have much quality to vote for! :P
