February 10, 200916 yr Author Vincent Van Gogh 17- Henri de Toulouse Lautrec 23+ They were both actually good friends. One of Lautrec's best pastels was a profile portrait of Van Gogh. There is no question that Lautrec was a better artist than Van Gogh ... look at his early drawings compared to Van Gogh's. I like them both ... but as an artist myself (or former artist - I don't paint much anymore) I can appreciate the better drawer! Norma
