March 10, 200916 yr Did you not think about trying to get tickets for Dublin? but then I guess that will probably be even harder to get hold of tickets
March 10, 200916 yr Author Dublin? Am I not skint enough? You any idea how crap the pound is against the euro at the moment? And Dublin is expensive at the best of times. I couldn't afford a park bench, let alone a hotel
March 10, 200916 yr Nope, I have no idea how much the pound is against the euro, I don't watch the news, it's too depressing
March 13, 200916 yr  are tickets only available to buy on the U2 official site does anyone know? I can't see anything yet for the general sale in other sites such as ticketmaster or see tickets
March 14, 200916 yr Author Oh I'm sure they'll be on Ticketmaster/Live Nation etc. I thought U2.com would only be for the presale tix?
March 14, 200916 yr I'd like to buy ticket on net, but I never bought anything online, so to be honest I'm not 100% sure how I should do that. Something with credit card and like that, but I'm not used on the thing that I leave information like that on net. I talked with my aunt who's from Zagreb, I hope she'll get me tickets. If not, I'll need some explanation about online tickets!
March 16, 200916 yr Author I order loads of stuff on-line, Nada. And yes, you'll need a credit or debit card. To be honest if you stick to reputable companies you'll be fine. Or else get auntie out queuing at 3am :P

March 16, 200916 yr Author http://www.radionetherlands.nl/news/zijlij...lephone-network Irish band U2 brings down Dutch telephone network Published: Monday 16 March 2009 11:20 UTC Telecom provider KPN is investigating why the national telephone network partially collapsed on Saturday afternoon, leaving many service numbers unreachable. In and around the eastern city of Nijmegen, the General Practitioners' Call Centre could no longer be contacted by phone following heavy use of the national network by callers who tried to book tickets for a concert by Irish rock group U2. Nijmegen's regional medical call centre says it is unacceptable that the health service is put at risk because concert tickets are being sold somewhere in the country. KPN wants to find out why the network was unable to cope with the heavy use.

March 16, 200916 yr Author http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive.../16/654508.aspx U2 Sells Out! Posted on Monday March 16, 2009 at 11:01 AM Add | U2’s European fans were buying tickets as fast as promoters could sell them; turning Goteborg, Milan and Amsterdam into complete sell-outs. Sales were so strong each city got an extra date for the band’s 360° tour. And, like the original dates, the additional shows sold faster than corporations hitting Congress for bailout bucks. Take Goteborg, Sweden, for example. The original July 31 date at the city’s Ullevi Stadium sold 56,000 tickets within 30 minutes resulting, prompting a second show – August 1 – to go up and sell out before the day’s end. Amsterdam, Netherlands, did a little better by selling 60,000 tickets for U2’s July 20 gig at the Arena within 15 minutes of going on sale. That’s 4,000 tickets sold per minute, working out to just almost 67 tickets per second. A newly added second show – July 21 – is also sold out. And Milan, Italy? 80,000 sold for July 7, while the added show scheduled for July 8 will go on sale this Friday. Then there’s the band’s hometown gig in Dublin at Croke Park. Tickets for the July 24 stop haven’t even gone on sale yet, but the ticket sales in Sweden, Italy and The Netherlands prompted Live Nation and the band to slot at least one additional Dublin show, now scheduled for July 25. Both Dublin shows will go on sale this weekend. What’s next? Paris, Nice, Chorzow, London, Glasgow, Sheffield and Cardiff go on sale this week, and if the past weekend is any indication, this time next week we’ll be reporting on additional shows in those cities. Stay tuned. :o
March 17, 200916 yr I really can't believe! :w00t: In Croatia, Snow Patrol will be support band! :yahoo: Now I JUST need to get tickets! :cheer:
March 17, 200916 yr Author I see the ticket prices for Hampden are £30, £55, £85 and £150. Plus booking fee. Quite steep unless you're lucky and get one of the £30 or £55 ones. I'm def not paying £85 or £150 that's for sure
March 17, 200916 yr I bet the standing tickets are the cheapest. Anyone know who's supporting at Wembley? I really can't believe! :w00t: In Croatia, Snow Patrol will be support band! :yahoo: Now I JUST need to get tickets! :cheer:
March 17, 200916 yr Author Can't find any details of the Wembley support act  I reckon the standing ones will be £55. The cheap seats at £30 and the 'good' seats either £85 or £150. For £150 I'd be expecting a personal serenade from Bono in my bedroom <_<
