I think the three contenders to replace Sir Alex are Mourinho, O'Neill or at a push Steve Bruce. I always thought that his replacement would be someone who worked under him as a player, someone widely loved by Man United fans. As the likes of Keane, Hughes and Ince have hardly covered themselves in glory it leaves Bruce in a list of one. I suppose they could always go down the Barca Guardiola route, does Ryan Giggs have his coaching badges?

Meanwhile, Paul Hart has been named caretaker boss at Portsmouth and Chris Hughton & Colin Calderwood at Newcastle whilst Joe Kinnear remains ill. What is it with all these Forest failures getting jobs at much better teams?!
