Posted June 16, 200619 yr On first impressions the album is a bit too erm CHAV for my liking. Total change in direction from her previosu stuff but towards the end there is a hint of old Nelly in there so all round an amazing album and a worthy purchase :smoke: My Opinionions ................... 01. June 16, 200619 yr I'm liking some of the songs I've heard from it so far, I've heard a couple of others I didn't hear played in the shop this week... so it could be a future one to get. ^_^
June 16, 200619 yr Author I demand you get it biatch  One of my favourite albums this year so farrrrrr
June 17, 200619 yr I suprisingly don't find this chavvy apart from Promiscuous but that track is love. Glad its 2nd single <3 I would say the latter half of the album is hottest, its like old nelly a bit. All Good Things is my stand out track. This album is kinda alternative R&B/ Hip-Hop. Its fresh and cool ^_^
June 17, 200619 yr Author You'd love it Pipa darl :cheer: There's some beautiful trackso n there and some ones that ame ya wanna shake that ass :yahoo:
June 17, 200619 yr I was never really a fan of Nelly Furtado to be honest, but there was at least some semblance of individuality about her earlier stuff. Now she's just turned into another X-Tina or worse still, a one-woman Pussycat Dolls with all the horror that entails.... :puke2: Maneater was the biggest pile of sh!t I've heard this year that aint a World Cup song.... <_< She used to sound a bit different, now she just sounds like all the other Pop Tarts.... Bad move, probably not her move though, it'll be her fukkin' record company I'll bet..... <_< <_<
June 17, 200619 yr Author I agree with the move - at first I was pissed off that she was ditching her uniqueness for the usual chav style $h!t that Americans wet their panties over - but the album is really good and she hasnt lost her old touch - some of the tracks do still eesemble that and they're the ones near the top of my list :P

June 17, 200619 yr Just cuz she's changed direction, doesn't mean she's lost her uniqueness. Some of the songs may be more hip hop orientated, but there by no means generic. A lot of the songs have still got elements of her old style in. In order my faves are; 1 All Good Things 2 Te Busque 3 No Hay Igual 4 Maneater 5 Promiscuous 6 Say It Right
June 18, 200619 yr I'm liking the album more, when I give it a few more listens, first impressions weren't so good but give it another chance and you really start to like it. It does follow the same r n b trend but somehow I think Nelly does it differently and as someone said with her own unique style.
