SO, Skopjefest this year will have 2 semifinals (19th and 20th Feb.), each with 16 songs. 8 from each will go in the final on Saturday 21st February. MKTV today released the snippets of the songs!

Kaliopi & Naum song sounds the more diverse song of all and can wait to hear it in full!

from the mass of pop/pop-rock songs i just LOVE the Vlatko Lozanoski's song also from semi 2 :D

Not a bad patch of songs, but none of the stood out for me. Many of them sound too similar.

 

I didn't know that Macedonia had a John Lennon (Risto Samardziev) and a Robyn (Lili)!

most of the performers there have the charisma of a plank of wood and hardly any of them seem to have any 'star quality' :rofl:

 

the performers of Rum Dum Dum look like my dad and stepmum after a night on the alcohol :heehee: I can honestly say that there is not one song in this selection that I would be bothered about hearing in full

 

the one with most potential is the one by Nade Talevska in Semi-2, but that sounds like a load of past Macedonian entries so would probably finish 12th-14th...

 

having said that, I rarely dislike the Macedonian entries, so I'm sure that they will pick the best song!

and my other fave did not even made the final last night :angry:

 

did not really like our song this year :/ it gets better with few listents I have to admit but still was faaar from my fave :S

still better than the 2nd placed song :P

 

hmm...awful concept although the melody in the chorus isn't too bad

 

it screams 'Monetenegran entry' and last place in the semi though and is incredibly 80's

I don't even think it's a 'grower' because it's too awful :cry:

Not good at all... with the likes of Belarus and Armenia for me currently. :( First bad Macedonian song for a number of years too which is a shame.

hmm I'm really not a fan of them :( the tenage girls and the kids love them here that's why they won the televote :wacko:
