that's great :o

But it could have been something better than DJ Ötzi or Wolfgang Petry

Im sick of German chart, Hot N Cold, Allein Allein, Human, need to go away from top 20. Great to see Eisblume in top 3, Casandra in top 10 amazing track  and poor The Rasmus ''Justify'' is realy realy amazing song, hope it can climb muchly next week. :)

Actually I rather love Ein Stern, so I'm very happy

I wish Allein Allein was on UK iTunes - has anyone heard Polarkreis' other songs?

I'm not really keen on Polarkreis 18, but I really like Eisblume (I might enter with it in BJSC :heehee:)

OK then I will search for something else ;)

There's going to be a foreign language contest? Wow. I can already think of 10 entries

Yan's German chart comments - Issue date 13.02

So once again quite a slow new German top 10, with the only exception Eisblume and the incredible "Eisblumen" reaching a new peak at #3. Still, unlike last week, we have a new entry among the first ten places coming from Cassandra Steen at #7. Steen is the lead singer of German trio Glashaus, not to be confused with the Scottish guys from Glasvegas (new in the album chart this week) ;), who rose to fame with singles like "Wenn Das Liebe Ist" (peak #5) and "Haltet Die Welt An" (peak #11). "Darum leben wir" is the first entirely solo single of Steen, coming from the album of the same name. Look out for the girl, I think she has a lot of potential.

Going down in the top 30, let's pay attention to the 82-29 jump of the latest offering of German rapper Sido. The sales were boosted by the physical release of the catchy single, which is one of the best songs of Sido if you ask me.

Eight places below Sido comes in the newest single of Kanye West. "Heartless" is the follow-up to "Love Lockdown", Kanye's only top 10 hit so far (without taking into account his collaboration with Estelle).

Following the worldwide triumph of vampire flick "Twilight", including $16 million in Germany so far, the title song from the movie's soundtrack enters the German chart at #47, becoming the most successful single of US band Paramore.

And finally, having watched The Rasmus live last week, I may only say it's a shame that the latest single of the Finnish band has failed to enter the top 50.
