February 13, 200916 yr i liked some tracks, bits n pieces appealed to a 7 year old mushyboyrob and 'catch us if you can' was imho their best. but they were never in the same league as the kinks, small faces, yardbirds, let along the beatles/stones.
February 13, 200916 yr DC5 were the only band to have hits with 2 different songs but with the same title Title was Everybody Knows The more familiar song was the 1967 #2 hit as posted above. They also had a #37 hit in 1965 with this song - Everybody Knows F8Mu9_HoKSw Here's the single that started it all. Appearing on the cult 60s show - Ready Steady Go Their first hit which peaked at #30 Cover of the Contours US#1 - Do You Love Me NInB7FYk-pQ Edited February 13, 200916 yr by Euro Music
February 13, 200916 yr Wasn't a fan of their early/peak stuff but I loved the later stuff such as the Good Old Rock N Roll and More Good Old Rock N Roll compilations they did in 1970 My personal fave is their version of Bring It On Home, Mike Smith's cover of that song is my fave rendition of the song bar perhaps the original and their rendition of Blueberry Hill on the same compilation shows Mike Smith at his very best
February 14, 200916 yr I liked a lot of their stuff, Bits & Pieces,Glad all over, Catch us if you can and Everybody get together.
