common it was my fault and not yours...u did a great job for not accepting it...I would do the same...but that time I was mean for no reason and I promise that wont happen again anymore...and this contest just became a part of my life...I really appreciate whoever came with this idea :wub:

Hmm...September is released physically on March 9th now according to HMV. :kink: I'm gutted I hadn't heard it sooner as I love it but it's incredibly old for everyone else. (a bit like my first Swedish entry :lol:)

 

 

I would send September without any doubt if I were Aaron.

September's song is better than any other's you've come up with this month Aaron, but it's yet another upcoming pre-release, as if the contest doesn't have enough already :P

for some reason, in my head the definition of cheapness are only Girls Aloud and Britney...dont know why LOL

I would send September without any doubt if I were Aaron.

I'm just not used to having the cheapest entry in the contest but if I send it now I probably have two songs lined up for the next contest. I want to send Tegan and Sara at some point but I don't think it's right for this month. Maybe I'll send the Wideboys edit of September which I prefer (I obsess over them really) and it'd be less cheap, but less popular too. :thinking:

True, I think people have cottoned on that it's one of the keys to success. (Katy Perry, Brandy, Sara Bareilles, La Roux?) As good as older songs can be, I doubt songs older than 10 years have much of a chance in this.

 

Oh, another thing with September is that my XV entry is also 'cheap'.

shame they didn't come in on time then, although Nonsuch wouldn't have been happy with the outcome had I decided to except them :arrr: of course there was no way of me knowing that you had done them a while before you sent them to me :P I did feel sorry for the country who would have won though but deadlines are deadlines :snif:

anyway, I always split up the songs into 2 groups before I vote...1st group the ones I already know and liked(no matter if they're too cheap or not,if I like it I'll vote for it) and 2nd group the one I listened here for the first time...then usually I end up giving votes to 5 songs from each group, so it means that my votes are 50/50...cheap but not that cheap.

Yeah, or at least I'm hoping it will be. Allecian and Faztickle are absent this month, so someone has to fill those boots. :lol:

September is more of a Simondly act though I feel (as they have sent her twice)...it would be odd to see her represent somebody else...I don't have any particular hold on the acts that I send but I think I might feel rather miffed if somebody else sent Mira Craig :heehee:

oh yes :o why did I think Simondly sent Satellites :lol: :wacko: Swedish pop is great, and September is fantastic, although I do much prefer Cry For You to Can't Get Over...
