Posted February 14, 200916 yr EW Okay, not officially confirmed, but, it's been added to US iTunes [under the name of Def Jam, who would manage her career much better in America than Sony could, but still, it's not great news].
February 14, 200916 yr this is utter nonsense, they know it has flopped in other countries yet they still considor it as a single in the US
February 14, 200916 yr Author this is utter nonsense, they know it has flopped in other countries yet they still considor it as a single in the US Well tbh, this is the same record company that thought by changing her sound, it would be a good idea. :heehee:
February 14, 200916 yr I think it'll actually do well! It suits our tastes. If it does better here than Europe I'm going to dance!
February 14, 200916 yr Author Do they actually want her to flop? Anyway, awful decision. USA, most probably. There still pushing for a 3rd single over in Europe (most probably Defeated, I Call It Love or Heavy Rotation), but they're working on a (small) tour at the moment..
February 14, 200916 yr Author I must admit though, the American response has been much better for ICFY than the European one.
February 14, 200916 yr She's kind of stuck for singles from this album really, I don't think there's anything on this album that would even do well here let alone in the US. Well, maybe 'Heavy Rotation' but it's too late now, the album is dead in the water.
February 15, 200916 yr WTF?!?! I thought they said they weren't gonna release ICFY as the 1st single over there
February 15, 200916 yr yeah They shouldn't have done it for Europe. The US will take to it much better.
February 15, 200916 yr TBH, there are no Top 5 worthy singles on the entire album imo....correct me if I'm wrong lol
