Posted February 15, 200916 yr Is there some sort of ruling that artists cannot perform new releases at the show. The reason I ask is that I now know that Take That are performing Greatest Day at the event ... when in all honesty ... I'd have preferred (and expected) they sang the new song Up All Night. Many sites I've been on have stated that there is a ruling that artists can't perform new songs. Is this true? And if so ... why? I'm sick to death of Greatest Day (it was passable at best ... pretty crap at worst) and I certainly don't want to see it performed again! Norma
February 15, 200916 yr I don't think so. Although I guess the organisers (and the record company) would want the song performed to their biggest song of 2008. I remember Coldplay performed a random album track back in 2006 though.
February 15, 200916 yr Author Nope, Kylie performed Wow last year. :P Thank you so much blankie (from your sig I don't know what your real user name is!) I knew I was right! Norma
February 15, 200916 yr spice girls preformed Stop, WDYTYA, and Holler prior to their releases, as did Hear'say. i think because of the interactive voting for the best single award, bosses must want to plug them songs
