"I Look To You" premiered on U.S. radio yesterday. It's rumoured that this will be released along with "Million Dollar Bill", with "I Look To You" probably being catered to AC radio.

Anyway, this is a strong ballad from Whitney. It's way better than "I Didn't Know My Own Strength". Based on the snippet, I thought it'd be a little boring, but it's a strong lyric and Whitney sings it with such conviction.

I am dyring to hear "Million Dollar Bill" though!

she sounds so much better in the clip for 'I Look To You' cant wait to hear it in full
Loving this at the moment! Great track and definitely better than I Didn't Know My Own Strength (whilst the latter is still good, it's certainly not single material), looking at the release schedule though she's cutting things pretty fine. August has crept up and will be upon us within a few days, then it's 4 weeks or so til the albums release and there's still no clearly defined single (having not heard the rumoured single!), not much airplay, no video, no promotion as of yet. It's still a big mystery even so soon before the release, I know it's to build anticipation but come on we've been waiting since 2002. Throw us a bone here!
Love "I Look to You" - Miss Houston is officially back! :D Really, really want to hear "Mill Dollar Bill" though!
I really hope Million Dollar Bill is in the same sort of vein as Whatchulookinat... I know it was pretty much universally panned but I must admit it's one of my favourite Whitney tracks EVER. The lyrics, the intro, the attitude (albeit crazy!) - amazing! It's parent album was quite the mess though.

I love "Whatchulookinat"! ^_^

Anyway, "I Look To You" is apparently the official single that will be sent to all Urban formats, whereas "Million Dollar Bill" will be released to Pop. I think having two singles released is a good idea. Hell, "I Look To You" has even gained spins on Pop, so it's a nice song to re-introduce her to the music world.

Brilliant stuff! :D

We should be hearing Mill Dollar Bill REALLY soon then all things considered. I feel blasphemous for even thinking this but something inside me is making me look forward to Whitney more than Mariah. :o

Blasphemy! ;)

"Million Dollar Bill" is being sent to Pop radio this week, according to Richard Palmese.

"ILTY" is the official single to urban formats. We plan to release "MDB" to pop formats later this week. We are waiting on some final pop test results.

Oh I'm so glad about M$B! I Look To You definitely isn't strong enough to lead the album alone.
Whitney Houston's Album Moved Up to August 31st Release

(New York, NY -July 28, 2009) Fueled by the continuous excitement from last week's much-buzzed about Whitney Houston album listening events in New York and Los Angeles, Arista Records has moved the release date of I Look To You up to August 31st.

As a gift to her fans, a free download of the album's title track, powered by Yahoo! Music, is available now at www.whitneyhouston.com until July 31st. "I Look To You," a sweeping ballad with Whitney's signature soaring vocals that fans have come to love, was written by R. Kelly.

I Look To You, Whitney's 7th studio album, boasts a who's who of A-List songwriters and producers.

The final track listing is as follows:

1. Million Dollar Bill

2. Nothin' But Love

3. Call You Tonight

4. I Look To You

5. Like I Never Left (feat. Akon)

6. A Song For You

7. I Didn't Know My Own Strength

8. Worth It

9. For The Lovers

10. I Got You

11. Salute

I'm not sure what they're on about; it was always scheduled for an August 31st release! Unless they've bumped it up a day in the US but I can't imagine they would since it'd debut with only one day's sales in that case...

We might be hearing M$B on friday apparently. :D

I Look to You is VERY good.

I love it, the lyrics are really touching as well.
