So, it's the time of year again. The card will almost certainly be headlined by HHH v. Orton, but everything else is up in the air. There's even been talk of doing Cena v. HOGAN. Now, that's a serious what the f*** idea. It would draw big, but that seems out of nowhere. If we're going for a big draw, I would prefer Cena v. Austin, but if Austin is involved, he's said to be working with Jericho (which would make sense due to Jericho badmouthing HOFers and all).

I'm just lost as to what WWE will book. The only certain matches (in my opinion) are: HHH v. Orton; Jeff Hardy v. Matt Hardy; Undertaker v. Shawn Michaels.

WWE did a great thing booking a major swerve at NWO. Everyone was saying "it's so predictable" which is why everything was changed at the last minute. It's made things so much more interesting.

I reckon it'll be a triple threat. JBL vs HBK vs Undertaker... Coz what they gonna do with JBL? It'll be in his home town, so not booking him would be a bit stupid TBH :P

Can't wait for Orton vs Triple H though, RAW last night ended AMAZING!

I have to say, I was pretty pumped at the end of RAW. HHH's over-acting is pretty funny though. I still think they missed the ball on Cena v. Orton, but I'll go along with the plan. As long as H doesn't go over - which is definitely not looking likely - I'll be somewhat happy.

WWE wouldn't screw the fans out of Undertaker v. Michaels. Everyone's been crying for this match in the last year. A Triple Threat would be a horrid idea. I think JBL will win next week, which will lead all to believe he will be involved, but I just can't see it happening. Maybe a special guest ref, or interference? Just not in the match, please.

Oh yeah, Raw did a 4.1 rating. It's the highest rated Raw since mid-2007. Looks like the swerve at NWO paid off.

This is good news to start Wrestlemania season.

Orton vs. Triple H

This is weird though:

WWE Champ is in Smackdown so does this mean Orton is moving to Smackdown?

Taker vs. HBK will be awesome!

It'll be more likely for Triple H to get moved to RAW again. I think WWE are wanting Triple H and the McMahon's back together in some sort of way ;)

Then Edge will stay at Smackdown?

The championships will swap again then. ;)

Yeah, since DX started breaking kayfabe, jesting about H being married to Steph, they've been wanted to acknowledge their marriage (fully) on-screen for a while now.

I'm hoping for Edge v. Cena now. If Cena is to have a match with Hogan or someone else, the fill-in for the World Title match would be Big Show, as they already have a storyline going. Now, Edge v. Big Show for the World Title at Mania? Definitely not appealing. I can't think of anyone who would want to see that match as one of the main events at Mania.

What I only don't like is that it has been done before except for Shawn Micheals vs. Undertaker (in 10 Years or so), Hardys fighting.

Yeah, it's a feud that's still fresh, which is the only issue. I just think thats the best option now they've gone down this route. I always thought Edge v. Cena would headline Wrestlemania, and it should've done at Mania 22. Their series of matches were some of the best in recent memory, and the angle drew consistently. It's like a WM main event three years too late.

I guess there's nothing they can do. Still, the feuds have happened before.

After watching Smackdown tonight. With the big Hardy vs Hardy match next week on Smackdown... unless there's some sort of special stipulation for their WM match, then to me it seem's like the WWE are ALREADY trying to steer away from their feud. You can tell that the "Who did this to Jeff?" outcome, was a last minute thing, now they have it was Matt, they don't know what to do with them. I reckon they're gonna turn Matt Face again (already) and have him apologise and everything to Jeff. TBH they should have waited for Matt to turn on Jeff until the Extreme Rules PPV coz I would love to see them One on One in a Ladder match -_-

I am personally routing for a Jeff vs Edge at 'mania, with Jeff given a PROPER run with the title (Or at least let him win the MITB match and get back into the championship scene). I understand the One Month reign was just to see how he was as a 'Main Eventer/Champion' but to me it was a successful one, well compared to Punk's stint it was anyway. They had Punk win the big belt, MUCH too soon.

So MITB... Who would you guys like to see in there?

Personally, my IDEAL MITB would be...

Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, Mr Kennedy, John Morrison, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Christian & MVP - And ALL 'cept maybe Shelton & MVP (Who I think will be in their own US Championship Match at Mania) have a big chance of being in it this year. We don't need Benjamin this year as we have Bourne... but Both would be great!

Read the Smackdown spoilers for next week. Cena's on the show and they're going down the Undertaker v. Kane WMXIV route of "good will not fight evil brother". I like your idea of Edge v. Jeff more, though. I hope Jeff is given the belt for a long run, he's definitely deserving, and over enough for it. His first wasn't really much, like you said.

As long as Evan Bourne is involved in MITB, I'm happy. He's so fresh and exciting. I have no idea who will win, though.

So Cena might not be able to fight Edge at WM? Jeff will be the next one I can think of...

I think it will be Cena v. Edge and Jeff v. Matt at Mania, based on next week's SD spoilers. Hogan v. Cena was tossed around, but Hogan confirmed on a talk show he and Vince had only discussed doing something, but never came to an agreement. There's still so many routes they could take, but from what happens on Smackdown next week I can't see them doing anything other than the aforementioned matches.

From the looks of superstars changing brand and all that at the moment. It looks like Triple H will return to Raw and Even Cena to smackdown :o. Hopefully he'll get his likeableness back completely..... Or not :(

I wish Triple H would RETIRE :( I really do. But there's no chance when he's giving it to the Boss' daughter :(

I think WWE are giving up on Matt vs Jeff too... after Smackdown, they can easily get Matt to just become face again and help his brother in a major championship match again...

Nah, they're sticking with Hardy v. Hardy for Mania. They're doing the whole "good will not fight evil brother" until one day, Jeff goes nuts on Matt. They did with Taker v. Kane at Mania XIV. It'll do the job to build suspense for their fight at Mania.

I just wish they'd get on with announcing the ME matches for Mania, now. We pretty much KNOW it's HHH v. Orton, but I'm unsure on Edge's World Title match. It's clear Cena will be involved somehow, but I have a feeling Big Show will sneak into the match somehow (based on the build up between Edge/Vickie/Show in recent months). That's what a lot of people are predicting, but I can't see them serving that match to us. Show just slows everything down nowadays.

Anyway, HHH looked like an idiot when he was chasing after Legacy. It was a pretty cool ending, and has kept Raw's rating at 4.1 for the second week in a row, but he looked like an old man who could barely run. It was so comedic. I wonder how they'll keep interest up for the next month...?
