It's probally not true, there's been millions of these. They all looked perfectly happy together a week ago on the Friday Night Project, so I doubt it.

Well it's got to happen at some point, and it'll either be during the Tangled Up era or the next project, as I can't see them getting as far as a sixth studio album...Doesn't mean the article is based on any hard fact whatsoever though.

The only one who has any chance of succeeding as a solo music star is Nadine and the rest know that.

Unless they had other projects confirmed then i doubt all of them would agree on splitting, because they're at there peak both musically and financially.

i think they woul dbe silly to call it a day if this is true,tangled up is doing well,calll the shots has done brilliant,they should do another album then a greatest hits 2 and call it a day then at the earsliest

Why outstay their welcome? That happened to the Spice Girls, and their name was tinged by the flop of Forever. If GA feel it's time they really should pack it all in before the public decide to do it for them.

I highly doubt this is too - it sounds too "unofficial" if that makes sense

Spice girls released a bad 3rd album it wasnt what the fans wanted and the spice girls split the spice girls should have done a 4th album to redeem themselves,they quit as soon as they had a bleeb,many artists return on better form after a flop album kylie for example.

The difference with The Spice Girls and Girls aloud is that the last album they did before they split was their worst! Imo GA are just at their peak, one of the biggest singles of their career, the album is doing well and their selling out arenas ^_^ Be silly to pack it in now, at least one more album :cry: I can see it being their last though, duno why -_-

hopefully its not true although a break for a couple of years wouldn't be too bad so we can get a solo album from Nicola :wub:

i cant see why not if the music is good which it has been,they could easily go another 5 years if they wanted to themselves

Bradford pop princess Kimberley Walsh and her Girls Aloud bandmates are NOT going to split this year.

 

One national newspaper reported that the band - comprising Allerton-born Kimberley, Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts - would go their separate ways after the girls' tour ends in May.

 

The tabloid quoted an "insider" who apparently said: "The split in summer is definite now. It's something the girls have all agreed on. They want to finish and then try something different."

 

The paper also speculated that they would re-form in five years, which would "virtually guarantee them a windfall to the tune of £20 million".

 

But Kimberley's dad John today said the claims were "utter nonsense".

 

He said: "It's just a fantasy. The national papers put this story out every now and again but it is just utter nonsense. To be honest, Kimberley gets sick to death of reading them."
