With 'Crack The Shutters' becoming Snow Patrol's biggest flop in the UK, since their breakthrough album 'Final Straw' only peaking at #43. One would think the single or album is just down right poor, which it isn't. Getting to the point the two singles from AHMS, Take Back The City and Crack The Shutters are shooting up European charts, coming close to outpeaking the band's only Euro hit 'Chasing Cars'. . 'Crack The Shutters' has become the band's most successful single in Sweden, jumping up to 29 in the last week, outpeaking Chasing Cars's #40. The same effect has happened in The Netherlands where Crack The Shutters shot up to #14, also outpeaking Chasing Cars which peaked at 24. Elsewhere, Crack The Shutters has peaked at a brilliant 28 in Germany. Take Back The City has also made the top 40 in Belgium, Austria and Sweden. Interestinggg ;o

It is pretty weird. . I think it was just the wrong release date. It entered the chart right after TBTC left and this was during the Xmas song explosion. . All not working in the song's favour, but the sales for it are probably quite good. :yahoo: @ 11 on US Bubbling Under, would be V.good to see them have a second song officially chart there :|

yeah chase cars got to number 5 spending 45 weeks in the hot 100 so it would indeed be a nice thing .

Woah grreeat, the thing is some songs are STILL overshadowed from Chasing Cars causing them to be overlooked when theyre sometime more or equally great ;o
