Definitely better than the uninspiring Circus - provided she doesn't sell too many downloads of it before the official release date, I'd say T10.

top 10. I think this is gonna be quite popular :D

Interesting, it seems alright!

It could go between 6-10, defo won't go higher! Although, look at Circus everyone was saying top 3/5/10 and it never made it..when other songs which were out just as long did! I think the most worrying thing for the UK project, is that even tho Circus, the single has knocked around for a while, has the album even re-entered the top 20/30?? Cos album sales are so low, like 10k will get you like no.20, so it aint asking much???

for britney 280 k in my opinion isnt very good. 2nd lowest studio album..... unless if u seek amy totally shoots this album back up the chart, like top 20 or even top 10 then the album is doomed. not awful sales, but for britney freakin spears..... then again one song could save the album. circus was $h!te! the (single) one song can save an album. but then agaiin wasnt break the ice a fave by fans? i know alota britney fans who loved it. its a tough one to call. many a good song has failed to do well. it depends on promo. in my opinion it hasnt been good song choices that saved the album, its been hype, womanizer woulda been outta the top 40 months ago if it wasnt down to the x factor, and i think the x factor did wonders for her single and album. my opinion.

Personally I dont see the album coming back EVER...her albums never do!

...I understand what you mean, cos I will wait till the non-diehard britney fans have heard it, to see whether it catches on!

Here is so many funny comments  If U Seek Amy is one of the strongest Britney's singles ever. Circus album will be back in top 20 soon. Like Blackout when have been official release for second and third single from album.

Well! Many thoughts on this one!

Circus shifting 6 figures is quite encouraging and it continues to chart well. It has basically been in the chart constantly since the album's release so it would have been difficult for it to break the top10 as sales have been so consistently good. I mean she's seen songs peak higher which have sold less than Circus has already. I expected it to fall out the week or 2 after the album's release and then to have returned nearer release but it never really left, getting constant (though not really high) airplay.

"Amy" won't have video kicking around forever and the constant selling like circus did i don't think, though its every bit as good if not better so i am hopeful with more concentrated sales it'll end up top10, but i doubt it'll manage top5/3/1.

In terms of the album, after a bit of a drop at the start, its slide has been very slow and it has stayed top75 the whole time (unlike Blackout). Its already certified platinum, and the reason Circus didn't send it back into the top20 is because its been a slow burner so have produced more sustained album sales rather than peaked ones (e.g. Break the Ice despite being a relatively minor hit propelled Blackout back into the top20, but it quickly fell again). Amy will probably see it properly rise i think. For a huge comeback, i guess the sales are a bit low overall, though Womanizer's are very encouraging. If she'd find the time to do promo here after launch e.g. for Circus (single) i think sales would be stronger.

Also Brit, could we have a B-side or even a radio edit on the physical at least? We know songs from the Circus sessions were actually recorded that aren't available (legally) anywhere in the UK. Giving people something new or even a cracking remix rather than a $h!tty instrumental may help improve sales! (and each download remix=1 sale so good way to build 'em up!)

UK CD Single (88697487822)

(Released: 16 March 2009)

Track list:

01. If U Seek Amy (Main Version)

02. Rock Boy (Alternative Version)

03. If U Seek Amy (Official remix)

I dont know it is fake.

Why has someone voted flop, the odds of Britney missing the top 40 are just... well... non-existent.

HATAS. lmfao.

for britney 280 k in my opinion isnt very good. 2nd lowest studio album....

Britney's albums have only sold decently in the UK since the Britney era (her third studio album) when she shed her innocent teen girl image. Circus is actually her fastest selling album in the UK since her sophomore album OIDA, it's selling alright it's only been out since December. I know that doesn't make it a smash success, but it has been selling steady.

WORD.

And apparently Rock Boy will be a b-side like Nick posted.

Nice track! I like it more than Circus but sadly I can't see it doing any better than Circus. Top 20

I doubt the release date is true since the video hasn't even been released yet but yes, I've heard that "Rock Boy" is the b-side. I would've preferred it to have been "Quicksand" though.

HATAS. lmfao.

Sorry, what?

I wonder if she'll release a fourth single...

I wonder if she'll release a fourth single...

Haters.

And I think she will release 4/5 singles. The albums still selling like hotcakes in America.

That is fake. It was posted on wikipedia and the only reason they put that date is because Australia get it 14th March.

 No way will there be 5 singles! I'll give you 4. I just hope the next/final one is SHATTERED GLASS in longer, radio edit form :funky:
