Posted June 17, 200619 yr In the article (in the Times Knowledge today p8) Till the death of out careers do us part (Bruce Willis has a rodent on his shoulder - ans it's no longer Demi Moore) by Kevin Maher it says: ..in the current era of lowest common denminator celebrity, we need Bruce and Demi like never before. For they have that rare and fading thing - genuine star aura. Make no mistake, Will Young is a fine singer, and Heath Ledger and Scarlett Johansson are fine actors. But Willis and Moore are larger than life. And sometime, sitting back in the dark, starring up at a large white screen, that's just what you need. So do you think any of the current crop of actors working in Hollywood has that big 'presence' or has that era completely gone?
