ANIMAL lover Pink is none too pleased at Britney Spears over reports that she's hiring real-life elephants to appear in her upcoming Circus tour.

Pink, a campaigner for charity PETA, is passionately against animals being harmed or used for entertainment.

Britney, 27, gets back on the road next Tuesday when her tour kicks off in New Orleans.

And So What punkstrel Pink is also doing her own live thang.

My source getting the party started on the Funhouse tour revealed: "Pink is really angry at the idea of elephants being carted around on tour, especially with the loud music, lights and craziness that generally ensues on a tour of any kind.

"But she's waiting to see if the rumour about using animals is true and what Britney will be doing with the animals before judging."

Ironically Pink used an elephant herself in one of her own early videos but it was something she's always regretted.

My source added: "The elephant's trainer was making the elephant kneel on concrete and get up again and Pink went crazy.

"The trainer told her she enjoyed it but Pink said: 'Oh so you actually speak to elephants then?'"

Pink, 29, believes you don't need animals to make a spectacular circus show. Her Funhouse tour, which involves trapeze, bungee and all kinds of acrobatic stunts, is testament to that.

Talking backstage in Antwerp to Playlist's James Cabooter, pictured with the singer, Pink said: "The first show went well but there's a lot to remember.

"With all this stage set it means I'm gonna have to play being a pop star this year. But next year I'll be back as a rock chick."
What with Take That planning high jinks for their Circus stadium shows, I'm thinking of learning some magic tricks to fit in.

Couldn't agree more. You can make an amazing show, without animals.
animals shouldnt be used for things like this. if you cant do it urself, dont do it then.
