I've always found her weak live and she never seems to flex her voice. MI at Visualise I thought was very poor as she didn't sing the bit where her voice goes all high and squeaky and I thought it was very pantomime-ish which made it worse as it's quite a serious song

I kinda agree, I found watching the Visualise DVD a disappointment. She could of sounded heaps better!! And on a whole tbh I didn't really like Visualise cos it seemed so aimed at tweens! It lacked something!! -_-

Love,

Kirsty xx

you only saw the DVD lol :P

on the dvd, her vocal chords were stretched (from talking, promoting and singing etc.) so thats why she sounded abit weird and weak.

When i saw her she was great!

I think I would prefer to see Delta live in a more intimate setting (either a theatre or a summer outdoor show like the Summer Nights concerts they do at stately homes and stuff. I would prefer a gig where it is just her and her band...no gimmicks the opposite of the Visualise show. ^_^

But wasn't it still technically the same performance and usually on music DVDs they alter any errors so the artist sounds better...

I have to agree with you Rob-some of the performances on the DVD were a big letdown as she didn't seem very powerful...

The Visualise DVD was recorded at the end of the tour. In a few songs towards the end she sounds really tired. The concert I saw, in Melbourne, she took a few songs to get into it [butterfly was pretty average] but then sounded incredible for the rest of the concert.

If you look carefully you see that BTT was recorded at an earlier concert and edited in [look at Delta's hair] as was the intro and ending of Innocent Eyes. They recorded both Sydney shows and used the matinee as back up.

:o I never noticed that :o Although to be honest, I've barely watched half the DVD as I've been too busy
