The 'Left Outside Alone' singer will perform a series of shows in Britain to promote her fourth studio album Heavy Rotation, released in October 2008. The star, who last toured the UK in 2005, revealed that she had purposefully left a long delay between the release of her record and the live dates. "I know I’m a little different to other artists but I don’t like bringing out an album and then immediately going on tour. I want people to listen to my music and be very familiar with it before the gigs," she said.
