its obviously none of my business what happens in D's private life and apart from hoping he is well as are his loved ones I am not concerned what they do - it is more the fact I am dwelling on anything and speculating as to what is happening and where he is - and that is my problem not D's, LOL - I just need some news to keep me going

My Mum is now worrying about me worrying about her.

I worry naturally and I'm not even a mother. I'm sure I would be a nervous wreck if I was.

I was thinking (don't say it) I love to hear Darius singing his own songs - it's one of my favorite things but, I also just love his voice and, over the last 4 years we have had new examples of his singing - even though most were established songs not his own. I still love the quality in his vocals.

 

we've had the 'Chicago' songs, the Guys and Dolls' songs, his demos, the 'Gone With The Wind' songs, the Songs of Praise songs and the Burn's Night songs.

 

We've not done too badly considering.

I know Meg but it would be nice to have them ALL on a cd. havent been able to get on Natashas site for the last couple of weeks, wondering if its gone.

I'm really sick of waiting now, i thought the wait between Dive In and Live Twice was 2 long but this is really taking the mick now. Hes lost so many fans because of it and im really starting to lose my love for him. He just doesnt seem to care anymore. We havent heard from him since xmas i think thats really mean of him. We've been waiting for so long and as time goes on im starting to think ive been waiting around for nothin. I can't see him having a very successful album now hes waited to long people have forgotten about him and his cheesy Kinda Love song probably the worst song on the album was a big disspointment. Id rather him say that hes not goin to do a 3rd album than leave us hanging like this. I'd love to see him live again but id wana hear his songs not go see him in a play. He seems to have forgotten who he is and how he got to where he is. I dont think hes the same man that was goin to prove simon wrong. I think if we dont hear any new songs this year then its probably all over. I feel there was a lot more left in him and i really can't give up on him but it just doesnt seem like its goin to happen. Ive written on his facebook and his myspace and its not surpising he hasnt responded lol but its about time he did get in contact or he mite lose people that have been so devoted to him all these years.

There is no one like Darius and no one that makes me feel the way he does but when nothin seems to happen its really hard not to just give up. If he hasnt been able to write any decent enough songs in 5 years to make 1 album then maybe he isnt the man i thought he was.

Of course i want him to be happy but i thought writing, recording and performing his OWN songs was what made him happy.

Maybe he is doing a lot behind the scenes that we can see but if he is he should be letting us know so we can understand.

Im really sick of having to justify my love for him to people and especially when they all same hes finished. Hes not finished but it seems he has given up.

 

I cant help agreeing with you to a certain extent, this is torture - I dont honestly see another album this year, or ever, especially as the music industry is so dire. I dont see D as a pop star either, he is better than that, always was imo - I cant understand the silence, he must be doing something??? he is a young man who has to forge some career in life, I do know that he was sworn to silence when auditioning for GWTW, but I probably am being too hopeful thinking he has been sworn to silence over some upcoming project. Phantom for example..O would love to see him on stage again tbh...but no updates or activity on his myspace etc is totally wierd, I am thinking he either wants to disappear from the public eye now, having found a great life - or he is up to something and its under wraps..I know which I would prefer as I miss him terribly, even listening to dive in and live twice makes me cry thinking he is gone.

 

I do know it is hard when the music I have si so old and I have no idea what he is up to, apart form playing cricket..he looked incredibly upbeat and happy in the last photo with natasha, so that cheered me -
