Radiohead. Utter dross. Why they're so revered is a total mystery to me. Bought OK Computer and The Bends in a HMV sale once to see what all the fuss was about and returned them next day, much to the disappointment of the guy taking it back!

Clapton in his more recent years with the exception of his collaboration with JJ Cale I would agree with

Chris De Burgh - Lady In Red has to be just about the most sickbag inducing song I can remember and I don't like most of his other stuff

Phil Collins with a couple of exceptions

Chris Rea with the exception of Road To Hell, his voice is very dreary

The Lighthouse Family.

Music for people who don't like music. Music so inoffensive it becomes offensive!

just about to say Radiohead.

just about to say Radiohead.

Whom I regard as the World's Greatest Band of the past 15 Years.

Still no doubt you are a much bigger fan of Bon Jovi ("the Westlife of Rock Music" © James Dean Bradfield); Luther Vandross (ironically virtually the first "Never Too Much" & last thing "Dance With My Father" he ever did are the only two good records he ever made IMHO); Mariah Carey (Simon Cowell's all time favourite female singer, but he hates Kate Bush & Bjork); Boys II Men; Eric Clapton (post 1974); Rod Stewart (post Mercury Records 1974); Bryan Adams; Sting (whose self indulgent jazz influenced boring solo post The Police career makes Phil Collins non Genesis work seem acceptable in comparison); Annie Lennox (compared to her 1980s Eurythmics material her solo work is a criminal waste of talent); Stevie Wonder (post 1980 "On his 1980 Hotter of July album you can actually hear his seminal 1970s creativity terminally give up on him" © Stuart Maconie); the Lighthouse Family (soul music for people with no soul); Emerson Lake & Palmer; and lastly but not least a made up supergroup and a horrifically unfunny Hale & Pace musical skit Dire (Straits) (Chris) Rea.

Hale & Pace - Dire Rea

Erm... Jack Johnson?

I agree, but as Mushy would say "this is a Retro forum for pre year 2000". Otherwise you could add the likes of Dido; The Fray, Nickleback, Westlife, the ever changing X-Factor winner ..... & U2's new album.

Oh yeah, sorry :P. Didn't know exactly how long he'd been around.

Also The Coral, though they've been around both sides of the millenium i think.

well its all down to opinon to be honest :P

but yeah whenever i hear Radiohead i just tend to... snooore.

cant exactly say they are the worlds greatest band of the past 15 years though, yes they are GOOD and INNOVITVE musicians but they are sooo overated, and this may be a bit off topic but, the whole give-away-album-for-free-revolution is such a load of crap from them, it's been made out that they created the whole idea when musicians such as Trent Reznor had done the exact same thing months before (Saul Williams album was given away for free, idea created by the producer of the album, Trent Reznor) and in that case it wasnt really bad quality files liek radiohead gave out, it was decent WAV's and 320kps MP3's, and also bands such as The Crimea and Carbon/Silicon (featuring Mick Jones of The Clash) had also given away albums YEARS before Radiohead. sorry but the 'do a Radiohead' saying really pisses me off, especially when it was said Nine Inch Nails 'did a Radiohead' when Trent had proberly planned it long before, and also had done it before with Saul Williams before Radiohead. which concludes that in my opinon Nine Inch Nails is who i regard as the World's Greatest Band of the past 15 years.

not that, that had much to do with the most boring artist  although as good as they may be Radiohead dont half put me to sleep.

Radiohead are the most depressing things to ever grace God's earth of music :nocheer: Bar 'Creep' of course

And 'Just'.

No I really don't like Radiohead either, it's simply a million miles away from what I usually listen to. I can appreciate some people like a challenge on the ear, but for me it's pure hardship!
And 'Just'.

I prefer Mark Ronson's vesion and I would love to say that in a room full of obsessive Radiohead fans! Oh god can you imagine!!!

im surprised at all the 'anti radiohead' tbh, they are critically acclaimed by the music industry and music critics alike, so radiohead i think is a case of 'i might not like them, but i see that they are bloody good'...

sorry but they arnt in the same catagory as the others listed here.
