Dude, it's only paranoia when they're NOT out to get you...... There have been very REAL assassination attempts made against Chavez, and the attempted "Bay of Pigs" style coup DID occur, like it or not... So, not exactly paranoia...... :rolleyes:

And dont try and lay cr@p on me that I dont "understand" what terrorism is, we had the IRA for over 20-odd years blowing stuff up.... But even there you could still see that the STATE was at fault for the "troubles" at the roots.. The IRA reacted to the violence perpetrated upon the Irish people for the YEARS that Ireland was colonised by the Brits, the brutality of the post-WW1/Easter uprising period in which the UK "black and tan" forces basically went through Irish villages brutalising and killing people they thought were IRA sympathisers, in the early 20s, Lloyd George partitioned Ireland into Northern Ireland and Eire, a mistake which came back to haunt us all in the end... Then in the early 70s came, and the British Paras slaughtered over a dozen unarmed Irish Civil Rights protestors, and shortly after the "troubles" began and the IRA saw recruits to their cause skyrocket.....

 

My point...? a simple one - that EVERY "terrorist" movement is as a reaction to the brutality and oppression of the State or a State, at the end of the day, terrorists and guerrilas are created by Govt oppression, no oppression, no terrorists... Terrorism is the ultimate act of Political defiance, whether you or I like it or not..... Honestly, your country likely at the behest of the CIA, surreptitiously sends some paramilitary force into Venezuela to undermine or assassinate Chavez and you wonder why he took it personally..... :lol: :lol:

 

Still, it's not the first time the US has done this - El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc in the 80s..... Just a shame that your people are too stupid to realise that the US is just using you, like they used us in the UK to fight their fukkin' wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.... <_<
