Posted March 7, 200916 yr Another nice little mashup of disco & indie while still purely British with the lead singer's accent... ns9o1gEhaE8 Most of the Buzzjack posters would love this, it's VERY commercial and they haven't really recieved any major buzz yet which is good... I bet 50 quid that Jake hates this on the spot.
March 7, 200916 yr I adore the Golden Silvers ('Arrows of Eros' went top 10 for me) but this song baffles me. It's totally tuneless and is in some weird tempo, not very catchy or commercial at all imo :o THEY CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER ): Here's hoping it grows D:
March 7, 200916 yr Author I find it quite similar to the Virgins' "Rich Girls", which was EVERYWHERE here last year. Then again, the Virgins are also quite an acquired taste, but I LOVE the album - full of chooooons!
March 7, 200916 yr The Virgins are decent. 'Private Affair' = rather catchy shiz. Not much depth to them but THEN AGAIN, they're a party band so who carez.
April 15, 200916 yr OMG THANKYOOU for posting this!! I've been hearing it no end on radio 2 at work and I was wondering who the hell they are! I dont know why but i'm just totally loving this song! And yeah you're right they do sound a bit likethe virgins, another band i've only recently started listening to. Need to know more about both of these bands!
April 16, 200916 yr Hmm, rather indicative of the current wave of boring indie bands - somebody described them as the "new Roxy Music" - that's just plain wrong.
May 7, 200916 yr This track was one of those low-fi indie disco songs that was very immediate on first hearing, but lacks substance & depth.
