TDE's Espenfest!

 

Welcome to the revamped Espen national thread. :kink:

 

A new national selection process was announced in the country last week. Due to the economic and political meltdown of the country last week, it had to be an internal selection for this edition of Espenfest!, but when substantial funding becomes available, it'll be a proper national selection.

 

The song presented to the public was called "Stopp" and was performed by Swedish singer Veronica Maggio. The song, which is already #1 on the EspenTunez download chart, is set to be a Spring hit throughout the country and will hopefully succeed in making the final in BJSCXV.

I think I'm going to love this contest :D

It was my favourite song last summer when I was doing my exams, but I never thought of entering it on here. So I guess a Swedish party is on the cards. :P ^_^

ESPEN WITHDRAW FROM THE BJSC

 

TDE have announced that it has ceased all BJSC related projects and will not be taking part until further notice. This comes shortly after Espen failed to qualify for the final in the latest contest.

 

Veronia Maggio with her song "Stopp" was the latest victim of the song contest. "I will continue on making music", she says.

Why is this?

 

Unfortunately we all have to fail to qualify every once in a while, it is a sad reality that not everyone can liek the same songs as you. Despite this there were loads of people who DID like Stopp (myself included).

Personal reasons, and I need to find music that would appeal to more people, and that takes me AGES. :heehee: But I'll have a lot of stuff happening over the next few months, so it was bound to happen even if I did qualify. :)

 

And thanks for liking it. It was favorite song last year during my exams. I drove my friends crazy. :D

I do have a few songs ready that I already know, but I wanna explore more and get passed the obstacles that are in front of me over the next few months.

I loved Stopp. Sorry you're pulling out, but I understand. I hope we see you back soon :)
