Posted March 9, 200916 yr Recently heard his new album. I was disappointed. A lot of the songs sound the same and its just a bit bland. Not many stand out tracks neither. I think he's missed the boat this time. I loved his last 2 albums though.
March 9, 200916 yr No I'm not disappointed slowdown73, nice of you to pop in our little place though and you're welcome anytime, I think it's on an equal footing with Friday's Child, but Keep On still edges it for me. My favourite tracks on LIG are; I Won't Give Up Grace Tell Me The Worst Disconnected If Love Equals Nothing You Don't Know Love and the bonus track on the download version album, This Is Who I Am. 50CRmETiccY
March 9, 200916 yr It's my favorite album so far [Keep on is runner up ] Faves I won't give up won't look down Changes Are you happy If love equals nothing Bonus track This is who i am
March 9, 200916 yr Hi slowdown73 thanks for popping in. I can't say I have a special favourite I think they are all good songs and love the whole album. If psuhed I'd say: 1. If Love Equals Nothing 2. Love 3. Are You Happy 4. Won't Look Down the others in no particular order. I absolutely love Gonna Get It This Time - the 'B' side of the single Grace - wished it had been released in it's own right - reckon the networks who ignored him would have a hard job ignoring it for long. Same goes for This is Who I Am - both tracks co-written with Biff and god alone knows why they weren't included on the album. It must have been these two that Biff was referring to when he spoke of "old school disco". Will said he wrote something for a film score I wonder if it was TIWIA. It sounds very similar to Duffy's Rain on Your Parade which was rumoured to have been written for the Bond movie. He's hinted that he's working on another album and has mentioned dance/house tracks that he's written. Maybe, if it ever happens, it may be more to your taste. We are all interested in finding out about this. Edited March 9, 200916 yr by munchkin
March 9, 200916 yr No, I'm not disappointed either. I think as a complete album, it's very good, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for something a bit more upbeat next time. I'd really like to hear some of that new skool disco that Biff Stannard and Will were having a great time writing, and their track that was a bside of Grace, is probably one of the best songs this promotion. :P
March 9, 200916 yr This is the first Will Young album I haven't bought  Didn't care for changes, let it go is bland IMO but I like Grace and may download it or wait for it to turn up on a compilation album.
March 9, 200916 yr Hi Cinderella shoe - thanks for dropping by. Maybe Grace will be on the new Now 72 - I don't think we know the track listing yet. Suggy - I love that YouTube video where did you find it ? Edited March 9, 200916 yr by munchkin
March 9, 200916 yr Close call for me between Let it Go & Keep On. Think I have favourite individual tracks on KO but I agree LIG is more of a complete album. Favs on Let It Go I Won't Give Up Love Won't Look Down Are you happy If love equals nothing I would also like to hear more of the tracks written with Biff Stannard. Love Gonna Get It This Time & This Is Who Iam.
March 9, 200916 yr Hello Munchkin. I will wait and see the Now 72 tracklisting, but I may download it on comic relief night as 20p or so from all downloads that night go to comic relief I hear the music from Grace all the time on one TV advert but I'm never quick enough to find out what is being advertised, can any of you Will Young fans help? What are your favourite songs from the other albums? Edited March 9, 200916 yr by Cinderella Shoe

March 9, 200916 yr Trulytalented - Thankyou for confirming the advert, now I remember what it is  Did you not buy from now on? My fav tracks from Keep On are Home  this should have been a single, if it was shorter save yourself: this too Madness Hapinness all I want Friday's Child Your game stronger  this should have been the 4th single, if it was a bit shorter Very Kind Friday's Child Free From now on you and I over you - this should have been the 4th single from now on Worst single from each album Keep on: possibly only keep on, It did take a long time for me to like think it over and think about it. Friday's child: only one, dance the night away from now on: so many :w00t: everygreen, anything is possible, long and winding road, cruel to be kind, side by side
March 9, 200916 yr Oh Yes I did buy From Now On Fav tracks - From Now On, You & I, Side By Side, Over You. Only tracks of Will's I really don't like are The Long & Winding Road & Save Yourself, though I did love it at the summer gigs but that's another story. :P Who are your fav artists? Edited March 9, 200916 yr by truly talented
March 9, 200916 yr I like LOADS of artists! These are the ones that have singles out at the minute - Alesha Dixon  Beyonce, Kings of Leon, MGMT, Take that, Katy Perry, coldplay, Kanye West, snow patrol, Duffy, Lady Gaga. I popped in here as I saw let it go only got to number 58 and I was surprised as he used to be one of the big selling singles artists. I didn't choose to not buy his latest album, I just kept putting it off and it never happened in the end. A better lead single may have helped :P Edited March 9, 200916 yr by Cinderella Shoe

Only Coldplay for me out of that list. I prefer TT's earlier stuff & I did like Misteq.
