Ashley Cole has threatened legal action against a newspaper of him chatting to a beautiful blonde on the night he was arrested. The Chelsea star's lawyers claim the pictures, taken in a crowded nightclub breached his privacy under the Human Rights Act. Cole claims he and the woman were having an 'intellectual conversation' and has threatened to sue The Sun for aggravated damages if it publisher the picture. It was taken in the early hours of Friday morning at the Collection nightspot in South Kensington. Cole was reportedly in a cororded-off area of the club with teammates John Terry and Michael Mancienne as they sat with a group of girls. Onlookers claimed that he was talking to a blonde in a blue mini skirt. One told The Sun "She placed her hands on his lap as she leaned to speak into his right ear''. Just after midnight the mood poured when the pair were pictured together and minders seized the camera. Cole became abusive again when he was snapped leaving the club. Police fined him £80 for being drunk and disorderly and he spent the night at Chelsea police station. He's said to been fined around £160,000 wages by Chelsea boss Guus Hidornt. Meanwhle his wife Cheryl, is said to be preparing for a showdown with her husband when she returns to Britain from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. The X Factor judge is said to have burst into tears upon being told of Cole's arrest. An expedition member said ''She was very worried - really low". The couple almost split last year over allegations that he cheated with a hairdresses, so Cheryl put her husband on a strict 'no clubbing' promise while she is away. Since the incident Cole stated "I feel I was being harassed by the paparazzi and while complaining to the police about this at the scene they did warn me to calm down, a warning that I regrettably did not heed. It was completely inappropriate to vent my frustrations I may have had with others in conversations with the police. However, I do want to make clear that I swore in frustration at the paparazzi's behaviour. I would never disrespect police officers in that way.'' The saga comes as yet another blow to Cheryl's marriage to Cole which was put under huge strain last year over his infidelity. He was branded a love rat by hairdresses, Aimee Waltons, who claimed he cheated on Cheryl following a drunk night out with his footballing friends in late 2007. Until now, Cole had genreally stayed away from the party scene amid speculation he had promised to tame his ways in a desperate bid to win back his wife. - Dailymail.

Love really is blind. Well if she does not dump him it will keep the divorce rates lower but she does deserve someone much better than Ashley and who will treat her how she should be treated.
