i'm not to keen on 'All Around The World' by The Jam, i much perfer 'Modern World' and 'In The Cuty' from '77 which you have also listed, but then again it is a list on your favourites so my opinion doesnt matter :lol:

best track out of those though, i think 'White Riot' proberly my favourite Clash song.

From your list, I like;

Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant

Abba - Name Of The Game

The Jam - Modern World ... I'm with Chris. on that one

Abba - Knowing Me, Knowing You

Ram Jam - Black Betty

Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop

Commodores - Easy

Donna Summer - Love's Unkind

Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water

Donna Summer - I Feel Love

Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way

No sign of The Eagles - Hotel California?! One of my all-time favourites...great lyrically and has that oh-so-famous guitar solo.

a great list, much in common with my Top 100 for 1977 (I'll run it sometime when I can sort/update it) though I have to say...Joy Sarney? Doesnt quite fit in with the rest... :lol: To be fair when I was a kid Punch n Judy seemed to me pure evil, domestic violence as entertainment had no place in my puppet faves so I'm biased against it B-)

Some good tracks in there - ace choice in Magic Fly by Space - very influential dance record I think.

Daft Punk for one I'd say, if only for the space suits... B-)
