Hey! Did we officially celebrate going past the 19,000 mark? Methinks Not!

So ... Hurrah for us!

no i dont think we did,but a huge well done us,20,000 will be a big one for us,its certainly been easier doing 10,000 -20,000 that it was 0 -10,000.the forum has been going reasonably well over the last 6 months which is great

Well, i am very very very fond on Julie - it speaks to me loads as i am a little bit down at the moment - but i don't think that it would make a chart impact. I want "Hold up a light" as a single - it is such an anthem! but i think only a song with Gary or Jason (if you see the publicity he got only for singing the b-side, think of what would do a real single) on lead would do well, as that is what the majority of fans seem to want.

Wow, i got to hear the Garden, very bad video, but Norma, you was right: that was the right song for the ocasion.

They shortened it (boooo, they take out the false ending which builded so nice at the end of the song, Jason sounds as if he was autotuned (but it may be the low quality), but it was life and great!

jason looked very nervous i thought

Jason looked like he was bricking it to be honest. Mark was spot-on though. Credit to the 'little fella'.

That Mamma mia spoof was very good. I laugh and laugh! :D

Awww, thank you Norma for the kind words for the "little fella " (very much apreciated). Gary was himself like usually (only at Greatest Day he had problems at the beginning), Howard and Mark were both great. At Jason, i am serious asking: does he use autotune? Because it doesn't sound naturally (his second half, the first two verses are ok and his voice normal, and somehow is a switch and it goes to this a little bit unnatural voice). Yeah, he was major nervous  .

I think they may have had a tiny bit of autotune on Jason (he is normally so nervous sounding ... but I actually like that). Btu no doubt that the performance was live. I felt so sorry for Gary though ... after his week on Kili he had an awful (painful looking) cold-sore on his mouth! Bless him!

I've watched it again this morning (The Garden) and I'm not so sure about them now. Mark was definitely singing live ... but I suspect some miming with Gary, Howard and most definitely Jason! It kept cutting to the film so can't be certain but if so ... its really starting to bug me now! I don't think I'll bother going to the concerts now. I'm going to get tickets to see Coldplay in September so I'll see if my other sister wants my TT one.

I don't understand either why they are miming? I would understand only at Jason as he is very emotional and then his voice is very uneven.

But why why why Gary? He has a beautiful voice, he struggled only at the beginning with Greatest Day - but that added value, if you know what i mean . I really don't understand why? He has experience, he has the voice, WHY? Does he lose his voice?

I still think Mark was live both times, as he was different from both album tracks and his voice had the imperfection of a live singing.

The main reason why i am against of Jason doing a single is that i think he cannot carry a live promotion. The chorus on "How did it come to this " sounds heavily metallic and unreal ( i miss here the proper word, but i hope you understand what i mean). It goes very well as a album track, but how on earth can he sing like that live? Sound a little bit like how they transform the voice of Britney, and she also doesn't sing live...

Howard was too perfect on The Garden, so perhaps you are right that he also mimed.

I think they always sing live on the gigs, even Jason (well, i don't know at him how he will sing now live , like i said, but i don't know if the autotune works also with live voices and if that was the way they transformed Jason's voice). So i won't worry about the gigs! Take for example the BW DVD. Mark was more than sure live (you can tell it at him  ), Gary eyebrow was also moving, Jason was absolutely live and Howard was also different as on the album tracks.

ik dont thinkthey mimed at all in last night performances im convinced it was live and howard i find is great live he has a great vooice

Only Mark sang live yeserday , some people from official TT knows from somebody working at BBC (or something like that  ). Also when you compare yesterday with today videos, it is very very clear!
