March 15, 200916 yr I really liked them in their first persona with "Geno" a brilliant song. Wasn't sure about their celtic outfits, the old dungarees  but I did like Come on Eileen when it first came out, a bit overplayed now. Jackie Wilson( not Jocky  ) was a good track though.
March 16, 200916 yr i cant believe theres no mention of the brilliant, critically acclaimed , cited as one of the most influencial albums of the 80's .... 'searching for the young soul rebels'. forget 'to rye aye' its rubbish in comparison, and the whole 'celtic' thing was sell out pop. 'come on eileen' might have been a good pop song, as was 'jackie wilson says', but tracks off 'searching for the young soul rebels' were the best. 'there there my dear' , 'geno' , 'burn it down ' (dance stance) were brilliant ground breaking tracks ...... just wait until i post '1980' tomorrow! ;)
