on tv now is My Father The Hero starring Katherine Heigl (below) and Gérard Depardieu. now Gérard Depardieu played the very same part in the original French version of the film Mon père, ce héros.

I'm not sure about this, but I think there is a character played by the same person in Man Hunter and Red Dragon. I think it's the head of Lector's asylum but I'm not sure ... sure I read something somewhere though...
