I need a bit of help. Could anyone give me examples of Pop/General music terms that are normally used by people/reviewers/critics/magazines. i.e. words like MOR, or commercial, avant-garde etc

Thanks :D

How random :heehee: 'Stadium-ready' is a common one when pretentious critic types talk about rock-pop along the lines of P!nk, Kelly Clarkson etc. Critics often talk about formulae too; a 'successful formula' of song eg.Dr Luke or Timbaland putting out similar-sounding songs. A bit of both really. Terms for describing/classifying a genre of music (like 'Stadium-ready' ^ I guess would be one), and then just musical terms/words/ describing a song, the structure/composition/arrangement/formula of a track to. If that makes sense?
