I'm starting to listen to it a bit more now and I absolutely adore Hold Up A Light - brilliant song to drive along the motorway to! Norma

March 22, 200916 yr I don't really like the video. The lighting is such that their faces look very 'hard'. Can't really explain, but I don't think the video is very flattering. And Iris I'd love to hear your opinion. My favorite video since the comeback is 'Up All Night'. All other video's were crap (in my opinion). BTW: I love the song.

I liked it the first time (ahem, well, they do look fine on it :lol: ), but after seeing it the third time it got boring and now i don't feel any need to see it again. Artistically is nothing new. It is just a video like hundreds other music videos, black-white, the rushed people to emphase the going of the time, heavy emphasis on close-up. The message is Carpe Diem, but too easy to find the message and to forget it. They look not like a band, but like some random four people - i supossed they wanted to show that they are four different personalities, but it would have been better at least at the end to bring them together and show them like a band. I suppose is that kind of video which gets well with the female audience, as they show quite only the four of them. It has nothing bold, nothing to disturb, no edges - perfect to make everybody happy . But it don't capture my attention and i wonder if it will capture the attention of the people who are not TT fans. I must agree, Joi-C, the video i like the most is UAN (and i think we are the only two people in the world with this opinion). Naturally it was not what i expected, but that is the chalange i want from an artist.

Someone was raving about it being shot in Greenwich ... but to be honest ... it could have been shot in any non-descript place ... too much fuzziness. And I'd rather they'd have shot it more like Patience ... in not all four of them 'mouthing' all of the song. After initially hating the UAN video ... I have to say ... from this time round ... it has been the best video. I still now love The Garden though ... it has gone form being one of my 'meh' tracks to one of my favourites. Iris - I really love Hold Up A Light now - I think I love Mark's angst-ridden voice. He may not have the best voice of any of them ... but I think he puts more passion into his singing than the other. Norma

Hold up a light is such a dramatic song, isn't it - i bet it will be great live on stadion tour (sniff, i don't think they will release a fourth single, it would be perhaps also no point in doing it from the selling point of view, they have achieved the maximum The Circus could done on the UK market, as now it is still in top 10. But i would have loved to have an anthemic video for it - somehow for me is as anthemic as Never Forget). Tomorrow i get in the city to hunt The Garden for you . The difference between the two art of singles is only a car sticker (normally is the video also, but this time the video was not ready in time). March 23, 200916 yr i think the album should be almost near 1.7 million now im not sure and with it still been top 5 it shows it has lots of sales left,the tour will boost sales as will a third single plus not to mention if the album goes on sale prices as in 5 quid or something sales would again rise plus a deluxe edition would be of huge benefit if they go with that, Greatest day was used in the dancing on ice final so im expecting it to be top 40 on sunday which again means this song will have a very decent chart run of at least 20 weeks and sales will be well past 300,000
