The ultimate UK cult artist. Nick Drake produced several albums of chilling, somber beauty. Which are now recognized as peak achievements of both the British folk-rock scene and the entire rock singer/songwriter genre.

Are any of you fans of the haunting "Middle England" music of Nick Drake or not?

Nick Drake is excellent. I haven't heard too much of his stuff, but I have heard Pink Moon and it is fabulous.

I love Been Smoking Too Long as well.

somehow he passed me by..... i either heard him and disliked him or i just have no concept of his work at all... and tbh im not bothered!

Agreed. To be honest I have never heard of him, and I don't think I will bother now after listening to the vids above

A great artist who died too young. I first heard of him in the early '90s.

My favourite songs of his "One Of These Things First", "Road" and "Northern Sky".

His sister was in Crossroads by the way!
