Lets hope he was just saying it to be nice and doesn't really mean it!

I mean ... its nice they're all friends after all this time but a reunion would be awful ... even just for one gig I'd hate it. If it did happen ... hope its one of the London ones ... anywhere but Manchester! :)

I am tired for the press going over and over about Robbie and TT. If it's happening, it will happen, if no, no. LOL.

To be fair to Rob ... I'm glad he has made a comment on it ... however brief. The MEN is usually quite accurate with its articles (as are most regional papers) so I'm sure he did make the 'I'd like to .... etc, etc'. And I'm glad someone asked HIM the question this time round instead of asking one or all of the boys.

I don't know if you've seen the German interviews with Gary lately ... they're posted on the TT site. I had to do a google-translate so the translation isn't word-for-word, but Gary politely asked before the interview 'please - no Rob questions'. And they very kindly complied.

Well, they are tired too to be asked. What they can answer again and again about it?

Howard has said also in a german interview that he hates the question "Are you Back for Good?" and those about Robbie

Im well tired of the hole robbie take that thing if only the press wud leave it alone as in general take that fans aint robbie fans and vice versa so they should just leave well alone

You're spot on there Pete. Apart from a tiny minority on either side ... no Robbie fan wants to see him back with Take That (even for a one-off) and similarly for Take That. It is just the press (specifically the British tabloid press) who imagine we're all this one big happy family and want to see a 'happy ending'. Its happy enough for me with Take That as a foursome and I'm sure Rob's fans are happy with their happy ending.

I agree Norma the best thing is they have made up in friendship terms although not deeply i think but they arethe least on civil terms as far as music wise they will and should remain seperate although i somehow think we could one day see a take that and robbie single for comic relief or something like that but at the most thats all that will happen i think
What the hell all the news said that this is a reunion that all TT-fans are waiting for? God, i think i am really no TT-fan after all  :teresa: (but as i am aware a lot of fans are against a reunion - what is the point to have instead two good acts one which nobody knows if it helds together ? )

EDIT - this is actually in response to your other post Iris - the one about the 2010 'joint' concerts.

If true ... and it is a big IF I'm glad it has been advertised well in advance as I have no interest in it whatsover ... so no nervous breakdowns over the computer and phone searching for tickets! And it will be the end of Take That (Gary, Mark, Jason & Howard I mean) they'd announce the split just after. It also personally puts me off Take That because they said at the beginning of the reunion (fourseome) that it wasn't about money ... and it wasn't because at the time they had no idea it was going to be so successful. I suppose it has made them greedy (surprised Jason is in on it ... he always seems so spiritual to me) and it has made Rob greedy too ... as we know he doesn't need the money. He just wants more too I suppose.

If it is true ... I wonder what Rob fans think of it? 20 minutes or so of his act was dedicated to slagging off Take That (and not that far back too). From the reaction of the crowd - his fans love the slagging off and the detestation and ridicule. Won't they see him as a total and utter hypocrite now? I can't see someone who behaved like a spoilt brat until his early thirties suddenly changing once he hit 35! I suppose the lure of the 'filthy lucre' is just too much for all five of them.

I'll probably be spending more time now on the Arctic Monkeys forum - I'm really into them now (and the Last Shadow Puppets - I can't stop playing 'My Mistakes Were Made For You') Alex Turner is so great with lyrics! I'll have to re-introduce myself to the folks over there!

Once again there is a massive 'IF' about this however I wonder what they mean by 'Rob is thrashing out terms now'? I'm sure as he is the bigger star it will have to be a 50 / 50 cut - 50% to Rob and 12.5% each to the other guys. Because although the foursome now share things equally - I think they'll make an exception for 'the one that was ALWAYS the talented one'

Finally IF it is true ... I hope they all get what they deserve because all five of them will now totally disgust me!

Tell you what ... even if it isn't true - it makes for interesting discussion! But it can't be true ... Rob has said he has his own tour planned for 2010.

I don't know if greedy. Mark seems to feel very guilty about Robbie and he looks to "make it right". Jason also.

I don't think Howard feels so much guilt. After all they were all young and all dealing with the fame problem. Gary must have mixed feeling. But he payed his debts and learned his lesson.

What i find funny is that Robbie says "if gary calls" and TT say "if Robbie wants". For me is a sign that actually the speculation is too much.

For me: i don't want any reunion because i like TT music and i don't like Robbie music. It will make only 50% to like, which it will be too less... . And i am curious how TT will develop - not how they sing old songs for the sake of reunion.

If Robbie takes Mark as a songwriter and makes together some songs, i may change my mind  (but well, lets say: it will be like 0,00000001 % chance something like that to happen!).

It has to be pants though ... I just wish when asked ... both parties would just say either 'no comment' ... or 'no'. And the only reason I don't want any reunion (even a one-off) is I just cannot stand Robbie Williams' voice it really annoys me.

Edit - I'm going to lock this thread now ... because its bollocks!
